I met The Navigators as a college freshman in 2007, and spent the next four years learning to love Jesus and help others love Him. As I prepared to graduate, I was surprised to hear God leading me on staff: it was reading Isaiah’s response to God’s call that gave me courage to follow. “Here am I send me” - a reaction birthed out Isaiah’s experience with God Himself. I, who have known the love of God: how could I not follow, as He led me to invite college students on the same path of knowing Him?

The Navigators Collegiate Mission helps college students meet the Living God. We want to equip students to spend the rest of their lives getting to know Jesus and helping others around them know Him as well. I love that the impact of our Collegiate ministry far exceeds the students we meet - it multiplies through their families, communities, churches, workplaces, and other relational networks, as these students give their own lives to making disciples.

I have the privilege of discipling students at the University of South Carolina, walking with them in the Word as they begin to practice a life built around knowing Christ. And I now have the additional joy of helping connect our Southeastern students to the nations through overseas partnerships, as well as coaching our Southeastern staff in their day-in and day-out labor on campus. The harvest is plentiful; the laborers are few (Matthew 9:35-38). I love getting to step into campuses and lives and encourage and equip my fellow laborers, as we put our hands to the work of life-to-life ministry.
