Karen has been involved with ministry to women for over 30 years. Since 2001 she has been on staff with The Navigators, helping women through discipleship, mentoring, and leadership development in Albuquerque, NM. She has also served on various national leadership teams, as Co-City Director in Albuquerque, and on the US Navigators Board of Directors.
Karen believes that every follower of Christ is called to live intentionally among the lost and make disciples for the kingdom of God.  She invests in women with this purpose in mind: to prepare and equip His people to do every good work (2 Tim 3:17). Whether its introducing people to Jesus for the first time, helping them grow in their walk, or developing them to disciple and lead others, she is committed to fulfilling God’s purposes among the people He has given her.
Another aspect of Karen’s ministry, called Come to the Banquet, was created out of her own personal desire to connect more intimately with her Father.  For the past thirteen years, using this method of seeking God with all the senses, she has walked with God in a deeper way than she thought possible.  And she is passionate about helping others experience Him in the same way. She hosts in-person and online workshops to share what she has developed. For more information, you can go to her website at www.cometothebanquet.com.
Karen is married to Leroy and they celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary in July, 2021. They have two adult children, one son-in-law and two adorable grandsons.  Together they serve in their local church and share a heart for investing in others.
