Welcome to our homepage! We are privileged to minister with The Navigators as we seek to know Christ and to make Him known both in the U.S. and throughout the world.
I (Steve) am the Director of Strategy and Integration for The Navigators. In this role I help ensure that the most vital and strategic ministry efforts have the resources necessary to be most effective. I also facilitate healthy collaboration across the organization, so that we connect the dots necessary to see more powerful impact together. Another element of this role is to strengthen the culture of the US Navigators in leadership posture, effective communication, and consistent change leadership.
I also serve on the U.S. Leadership Team of The Navigators, bringing inspiration, focus, alignment and energy to our ministries around the country, and to our U.S. staff serving overseas.
I (Carol) lead the Sexual Health and Wholeness Initiative for the U.S. Navigators. This effort provides training and resources for our staff across the country, who increasingly need to know how to address issues of sexuality as they minister to college students, military personnel, church members, those in poverty, and people in the marketplace. It can be an intimidating area to work and minister in, but it is desperately needed as our culture grows more dysfunctional in this arena.
I also help ethnic-minority staff in their personal fundraising efforts. Many of these staff face additional challenges in fundraising due to their ethnic background. I work with them to create tailored solutions to resource their exciting and vital ministries.
We have lived in Colorado Springs, CO since 1999. We have a married daughter Becca who lives in Ft. Collins, CO. In our free time we like to watch sports, play games, hike, and travel.
