Doug and Pam Nuenke

Doug is President Emeritus of the U.S. Navigators.

Doug and Pam came on staff with The Navigators in 1992 after serving on the staff of a Denver church and in leadership with Doulos Ministries. They have served on Collegiate staff, in city ministries, and most recently Doug served 13 years as the President of the U.S. Navigators.

Doug currently serves as an associate to the National Leadership Team. His focus is mentoring senior Navigator leaders and being a catalyst for disciple-making partnerships in the Body of Christ. He longs to lead as David is described in Psalm 78:72, “And David shepherded them with integrity of heart, with skillful hands he led them.”

Pam serves as a soul care mentor and coach. She comes alongside women, who are leaders or spouses of leaders in The Navigators, sometimes at vulnerable times of life. She aims to honor God by helping them flourish and grow as Christ-followers and ministers of the gospel.


Doug and Pam have a high value for partnering together in ministry and discipling individuals who will in turn disciple others (See 2 Timothy 2:1-2). They long to see the Gospel of Jesus advanced into the nations through everyday people who make disciples in the normal pathways of life—where they live, work and play.

Doug and Pam have three adult children, two sons-in-law, and eight wonderful grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with others as they build relationships and see God transform lives. Doug loves to fly fish and mountain bike and they both enjoy reading, the outdoors, spending time with their family, and being with friends. Doug and Pam currently live in the Denver area and are deeply grateful for your prayers and financial support.
