Joe and Joy Maschhoff

Joe and Joy have a passion to see disciplemaking disciples advancing the Gospel in all walks of life. They returned in May of 2021 from living in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, after leading our Caribbean work for seven years. After then serving on the International Executive Team (IET), helping to lead the Worldwide Partnership of The Navigators, Joe was selected into the role of International President of The Navigators effective May 2025.

Serving as the International President, Joe leads the global work of The Navigators in a unique partnership with men and women who follow Christ to share the redemptive truth of God among the nations. Joy is deeply engaged in this work, as well.

A favorite passage they are trusting God for the Navigators is Isaiah 54:2-3. “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities."
