When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Matthew 9:36-38
The harvest is plentiful in Budapest, Hungary - a place where generational distrust and hopelessness are deeply rooted in its post-communist culture. Almost 70% of young people, ages 16-29, do not follow any religion and are lost, like sheep without a shepherd. There is a tremendous need for Hungarians to know where their hope can be found in Christ.
My prayer for Hungarians is that they would know Christ and make Him known by advancing the gospel and abiding in God's never-ending love. I am confident that the Lord has called me to be a part of this ministry and to be a laborer for the kingdom in Hungary.
In order to reach people in Hungary, I am praying that the Lord will provide by raising up individuals and churches who would give to me financially and by connecting me with others.
