A part of Navigators Encore, Marti and I continue to minister to teenagers with Navigators Next Generation. We have been ministering to teenagers for over 45 years, and like other Navigator ministries we do it one life at a time. Of course we have group meetings and Bible study discussions in small groups, but the core of what we do centers around individual relationships with the teens. Our goal is to help them come to know Christ personally and then to develop that relationship intimately, all the while gaining a vision to perpetuate discipleship to future generations.

We are a community based ministry that includes students from a variety of churches or with no church background at all. They come from both public and private schools and even from a home schooled environment. Having been at this as long as we have, we have even been privileged to minister to the children of Next Generation Alumni.

You may have heard that this generation of students is rejecting faith, but our experience is that they just want a faith that is real and relational, not institutional and cold. They need a true relationship with Jesus Christ that is relevant and vital. That is what we help them to find and pass on.
