Weekly for 34 years I was discipled by Jake Combs, a longtime fixture in The Navigator ministry. Jake went to be with the Lord on May 9th, 2013. Now it's my turn to invest through The Navigators some of what Jake invested in me. Since 1980 my calling has been to create cartoons to be a communication vehicle for spreading God's Truths.

This included writing and illustrating a 20-year comic strip, authoring cartoon tracts that have sold over 50 million copies, as well as creating countless illustrations for Sunday school curriculum, VBS, and other publications. As a community business professional God has now expanded this calling for me to disciple businessmen and entrepreneurs through Kansas City's Navigator Workplace Mission. My focus is one-on-one discipleship, small group Bible study, and large group presentations. I'm convinced more than ever that I need to double my effort in building the Word of God into others the way Jake built it into me.
