The Navigators

Married to Jean Marie for 25 years, father of three children - Sarah, David, Anna, Grandfather to Lorelai, Maddy. Came to the Lord in 1996. Joined  The Navigators in March 2015. Commissioned as a NavRepII on October 18, 2017. Live in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The primary calling is to disciple men from where they are to where God wants them to be - Spiritual Leaders who love God, love their wives, teach their children, and multiply according to the Great Commission.

Vision:  Build an army of men who love God (Matthew 22:36-38) who become disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20)



 

Mission: With the help of God's Word and the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to encourage and motivate men to be grounded in the truth of Scripture where God binds up the brokenhearted, sets men free and transforms their lives so they can live out the Great Commission. We do this by equipping men with Biblical skills to love God, be a man of the Word, a man of prayer, and a man of obedience to enable them to address practical life issues successfully. These life issues include marriage, raising children, dealing with hard times, moral purity, work, and living a life that counts. With the help of Every Man A Warrior study guides, their Bible, One-on-One mentoring, and by holding men accountable in small groups of four to seven men, these men evolve into leaders and disciple-makers in the words of II Timothy 2:1-2 and Matthew 28:18-20. I do this in Churches, Businesses, Communities,  and Prisons.

Jean and I were Commissioned as NavReps on October 18, 2017, at the home of Dan & Joy Rohrer in Belmont, MI. We were supported and encouraged by the presence of many Navigator staff, family, and those impacted by the ministry God has so graciously called me to do through Every Man A Warrior.
