Matt Rodriguez

Matt graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in civil engineering and was involved with the Navigators during his 4 and a half years there. He worked as an engineer in the Tampa area for several years while also volunteering with the Navigators at the University of South Florida. His passion to see students come to know Christ and for them to transition well into their post-grad lives as disciple makers led him to switch careers and join the Navigators full-time at USF.

Matt has a heart for developing and encouraging gospel-centered community amongst students at USF. He also loves to help students understand the story of the Bible as a whole, how they fit into that story, and what that story means for their lives. His desire is for students to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same not just during their time in college, but for decades after in whatever context and nation God has them in.
