James and Sunita Puleo are the Navigator Co-Directors for the Chicago metro area. They are passionate about connecting and empowering people and ministries, creating pathways for God to deepen, grow and transform the world.

Growing up in New York City, and having lived in several major U.S. cities since then, diverse urban jungles are James’ and Sunita’s natural environment. James grew up in his parents thriving NYC Navigators ministry, developing a heart for discipleship, city-wide Kingdom initiatives, and movements of God. Following his passion for the Word of God and ministry, James has a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity degree, and he has pastored in several churches.

Sunita is a multicultural, Indian American performing artist and community builder with degrees in Music and Intercultural Studies, who has worked at the intersection of the arts and diversity in the U.S., Asia, Africa, and Europe. She gravitates towards creatives and creativity, cross-cultural collaboration, communication, and places where the Spirit of God is plowing hard ground.

Sunita and James are also blessed with four amazing, vibrant children, who bring continuous opportunities to strengthen their practice of relating across generational divides.
