Dennis and Melynda currently serve the International Students at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Strategically many of these students are from places that are hostile to or do not know the gospel. Many of these students will return home after their studies to these unreached or difficult to reach areas.

Their ministry focus and visions is to build trusting relationships through meeting physical needs (furniture donations, grocery store rides, ESL, other basic life needs), relational needs (weekly fellowship meals, host homes, intentional friendships, student trips) and spiritual needs (weekly Bible studies, evangelism, investigative Bible discussions).

They have four beautiful children and love to share the love of Jesus' family with international students through their own family as 80% of international students in the USA never set foot in an American home. Seeing lives transformed from having no knowledge of the Gospel to trusting in Jesus as Lord and savior is an unbelievable privilege they enjoy. Their life, family and ministry verse is 1 John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us."
