Michael and Velma Jacobs
Marine Corps Combat Development Command
God has called The Navigators…
to advance the Gospel of Jesus
and His Kingdom into the nations
through spiritual generations of laborers
living and discipling among the lost
OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES:
- The Gospel: a passion for those who don’t know Christ (John 3:16)
- Depth of discipleship: our commitment to the third generation (II Timothy 2:2)
- Spiritual multiplication: helping ‘the little one become a thousand’ (Isaiah 60:22)
- The nations: building disciples in every culture (Matthew 28:19-20)
Ministry Focus
We work side by side with local base chaplains, helping to instruct and strengthen military personnel in biblical values. We utilize:
- Small group Bible studies

In February 2004, the Lord confirmed where my wife and I would re-locate. We moved from Kentucky to southern California to minister to Marines at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. After seven years of service, The Navigators Military Leadership Team invited Velma and I to realign our vision and relocate to Marine Corps Base Quantico. Through Bible studies and one-to-one mentoring, we eagerly invest our lives in Military men and women, and their family members to love them and help them reproduce their lives spiritually in others. As they transition from Marine Corps Base Quantico to 12 other Marine Corps Bases around the world and into the private sector, The Navigators are there to live life with them!
The Navigators’ calling is, “to advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost”
