All throughout Scripture it is clear, God has a plan to reach the world and we all have a role to play in it. This became abundantly clear to us in our respective times in college, when Rachel came to know Jesus personally and Andrew grew in actively living out and sharing his faith. The mission of The Navigators is simple: “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same.®” This is what we do every day on campus in Cedar Rapids, IA. Through small-group Bible studies and Life-to-Life® discipleship, we walk alongside students and help them know, love, and live like Jesus more and more every day. Then, they get to turn around and do the same with their friends and classmates. 


What starts here in Cedar Rapids is just the beginning. “[God] says: ‘It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth’” (Isaiah 49:6). As students start to see and understand their role in God’s kingdom, they are able to become lifelong laborers for Christ no matter where they head after graduation.
