Katie met The Navigators as a sophomore in college at The University of Tennessee Knoxville. During her time with The Navigators in college, the Lord revealed the power and beauty of Life-to-Life discipleship and placed a passion in her heart for investing in the lives of others and helping them to experience the true and abundant life that is found in Christ. She joined staff with The Navigators shortly after graduation and served with The Navigators at Auburn University for five years, where she met her husband Nathan. In July 2022, Nathan and Katie moved to New Mexico, where Nathan works for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish and Katie is continuing to serve with The Navigators at the University of New Mexico.

She is passionate about coming alongside young women, reading the Bible with them, and helping them develop strong spiritual foundations. She believes that the college campus is one of the most strategic places to invest and is excited at the thought of the places the gospel will reach as she and others help reach, equip, and launch students into the world with the truth of the gospel.

It has been and continues to be a privilege and joy for her to be a part of what God is doing on the

college campus, first at Auburn Un and now at the University of New Mexico. Her prayer has been and continues to be that God would use her to raise up and equip young women to follow and walk in the way of Jesus not only during their time in college, but for the rest of their life!
